Biography:

Ashley Benitez joined the Vasquez de Lara law law group in 2023 as one of our litigating attorneys.

She was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a minor in Psychology from Florida International University. After college, she attended law school at Nova Law.

While in law school, Miss Benitez worked as a clerk at the Broward Courthouse with Honorable Judge Timothy Bailey and served as a Research Assistant in Family Law for Professor Timothy Alcaro. She also was Vice President of the NSU Trial Team and participated in trial competitions.

Since 2007, she has been actively involved in family law, starting as an intern for Attorney Adriana Quirantes during her senior year in high school. Driven by a desire to support families during their most challenging times, Miss Benitez is currently a member of the Coral Gables Bar Association and the Miami-Dade Bar Association.

Miss Benitez is both fluent in Spanish and English and is eligible to practice in Florida and the United States Southern District of Florida.

She is an experienced litigator having handled hundreds of family law cases.
