Senior Paralegal

A Paralegal assists lawyers in preparing and organizing various legal documents for upcoming cases and trials. Their main duties include preparing affidavits and correspondence, discussing case details with attorneys and clients and organizing different files for different legal proceedings and ensuring deadlines are properly calendared.

The senior paralegal will demonstrate command over family law matters and brings years of experience to the role. The senior paralegal is expected to bring strategic advice to cases, not just provide case law or other preparatory documentation.

Experience supervising other less junior paralegals would be expected. This candidate must be results-oriented with high-quality output and track history of professional results. Job Responsibilities

● Writing Motions, Petitions, Misc. Pleadings, Subpoenas, Objections, etc.

● Assist with trial preparations, hearings and mediations

● Organize cases for efficient case meetings

● Reach out to opposing counsels when needed

● Will delegate any tasks that can be done by support staff if not billable

Client Engagement Attorney

Are you an attorney barred in the state of Florida? Are you interested in using your law degree but not interested in spending time in court, dealing with a case load or meeting billable hours? If so read one, this could be the opportunity you’re looking for!

We are looking for an attorney barred in the state of Florida that is looking for a hybrid position as a client engagement attorney. The client engagement attorney will be responsible for consulting with prospective clients of the firm. They will use their legal knowledge of the family law process in Florida to guide prospective clients during consultations to the path that is best suited for their situation. Therefore, prior experience in Florida Family Law is desired and will be a differentiator.

The client engagement attorney is to demonstrate the value in retaining our service and is to be a fierce advocate for the type of work we do and the results our firm delivers. They will usually meet with clients via Zoom but will also handle the sessions that are requested to be at the offices in Miami, FL.
