Veronica Lopez-Calleja



Veronica, a gifted Cuban American attorney, made her passionate dreams a reality when she pursued a career in law and used her drive and motivation to help others. In serving in the field of family law, she has been able to facilitate her dreams and provide many clients with a success story. Raised in Miami, Veronica received her Double Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Philosophy in Florida International University in 2013 before attending St. Thomas University School of Law.

During law school, Veronica earned numerous tributes such as multiple Dean’s List recognitions and provided over 200 hours of pro bono work to the community. She served the public by becoming a Certified Legal Intern for the City of Miami, Office of the City Attorney, for the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, Third Region, for the V.I.D.A. Legal Clinic, and the St. Thomas University School of Law Immigration Clinic.

With qualities like the courage to take risks, impact, work hard, and practice excellence, she has created a high-performance law firm that can make success possible. Veronica commenced her career as an attorney in private practice in South Florida where she handled a variety of complex family law cases, including divorces, marriages, alimony, paternity, child custody, child support, relocation, adoption, domestic violence, and post-judgements. As well as being primary attorney of her own practice, Veronica serves as Of Counsel for the Vasquez de Lara Law Group and handles family law cases for the firm.
