Sydney Smith, Esq.



Sydney Smith was born and raised in Miami, Florida. In 2017, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a double major in Sociology from Florida State University. After attending FSU, she came back home to Miami and obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law.

During her time in law school, Ms. Smith was an active member of the law school and greater Miami community. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the Race & Social Justice Law Review, Vice President of the Society of Bar and Gavel, and Vice Justice of Phi Alpha Delta. Ms. Smith also participated in the Children and Youth Law Clinic, where she furthered her knowledge of the legal system and reinforced her goal of striving to make a positive difference in the lives of her clients.

Ms. Smith previously worked as a senior law clerk at the Vasquez de Lara Law Group where she worked hand in hand with the attorneys, drafted pleadings, prepared files for trial and attended hearings with the attorneys.
