Biography:
As a South Florida native, she is a graduate from Florida International University, where she double majored in Political Science and International Relations. She was recognized with a Kaplan Award for her commitment of service to others.
Mrs. Gutierrez received her Juris Doctorate from NSU’s Shepard Broad College of Law where she served as the President of the Public Interest Law Society. Mrs. Gutierrez gained an invaluable insight into the judicial decision-making process as a Certified Legal Intern for the Honorable Tim Bailey, in the Family Division of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Gutierrez has represented hundreds of clients facing a wide range of family issues including contested and uncontested divorces, child support, paternity, alimony, and modifications of custody cases. She has also represented the interests of many abused, neglected, and abandoned children as a state trained volunteer Guardian ad Litem.
Mrs. Gutierrez is bilingual in English and Spanish allowing her to communicate and collaborate effectively with parties from different cultural backgrounds, facilitating smoother and more successful interactions.
