Biography:

Micaela Baldner is a strategic family law attorney at Vasquez de Lara Law Group who guides clients across our firm’s locations through some of life’s most complex and emotionally charged transitions. Prior to private practice, Micaela represented the Florida Department of Revenue, where she handled a range of family law matters, including paternity agreements and child support establishments/modifications. While she continues to provide trusted counsel in child support matters, her practice has expanded to include the full spectrum of divorce proceedings—including dissolution of marriage, parenting plans, paternity, spousal support, and equitable distribution.

Micaela approaches each case with a client-centered philosophy, beginning with a safe and respectful consultation where clients can speak openly. She listens with intention, explains legal pathways clearly, and ensures her clients feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout the process.

She is proud to uphold the values of empathetic advocacy and unwavering professionalism, working to protect her clients’ rights while helping them navigate emotionally sensitive challenges with clarity and confidence. As an active contributor to her firm’s collaborative culture, she supports her team of attorneys with the same integrity and openness she brings to her client relationships.

Micaela earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was recognized with the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, the CALI Excellence for the Future Award, and served as Editor-in-Chief of the International and Comparative Law Review. She also holds a degree in Legal Studies from Nova Southeastern University’s Honors College.

Outside the office, Micaela enjoys spending time outdoors, volunteering in animal rescue, following Premier League soccer, and engaging in community education initiatives. A fun fact: she was born in Toronto and raised in an Argentinian household—a bicultural upbringing that continues to shape her empathy, adaptability, and respect for diverse perspectives.
