Jacqueline Gutierrez is a dedicated family law attorney committed to guiding clients through some of life’s most challenging transitions with compassion and clarity. A proud South Florida native, she earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where she served as President of the Public Interest Law Society and gained invaluable courtroom insight as a Certified Legal Intern for the Honorable Judge Tim Bailey in Broward’s Family Division. Jacqueline was also recognized with a Kaplan Award for her commitment to service.
Since beginning her practice in 2020, Jacqueline has focused on a wide range of family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorces, child support, paternity, alimony, and custody modifications. She also has experience advocating for vulnerable children as a state-trained volunteer Guardian ad Litem in Broward County.
Jacqueline brings a balanced and strategic mindset to every case. She takes time to listen closely to her clients’ goals, explain their options, and develop a plan that highlights their strengths—even in complex or emotionally difficult situations. Her approach helps clients feel supported and equipped to move forward, even when facing uncertainty.
She is an active member of the Florida Bar Family Law Section. Her dedication extends beyond the courtroom—she’s deeply invested in giving back and supporting families who may not otherwise have access to quality legal help. Like all of our attorneys, Jacqueline is dedicated to serving Florida clients by addressing both their legal strategies and emotional well-being.
At Vasquez de Lara Law Group, Jacqueline connects deeply with the firm’s core value of compassion. She believes that empathy and care are just as important as legal skill when helping clients through family law matters. Outside of the office, Jacqueline enjoys traveling, reading self-help and motivational books, and listening to podcasts that inspire her to grow—both personally and professionally.
