Biography:

Ashley Yarzabal Plasencia is a dedicated family law attorney who brings compassion, clarity, and professionalism to every case she handles. She earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law and began her legal career in 2020, inspired by her internship with the Honorable Judge Maria Elena Verde in Miami-Dade’s Family Division. That early experience sparked a deep interest in helping families during some of the most difficult times of their lives, and she hasn’t looked back since.

Ashley handles a wide range of family law matters for clients across our firm’s locations, including divorce, child custody, timesharing, parental rights, as well as prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. She is also trained in collaborative law and welcomes cases that benefit from a more cooperative, family-focused approach.

Ashley’s clients appreciate her for being someone they can both trust and talk to. She approaches every consultation with the goal of making clients feel comfortable, heard, and fully informed. Her ability to explain legal issues clearly and check in with clients emotionally helps them feel supported every step of the way. As a mother herself, Ashley is especially passionate about cases involving children, and she advocates fiercely to protect their best interests and minimize the emotional impact of family disputes.

She is an active member of the Florida Bar Family Law Section and the Young Lawyers Section of the Dade County Bar Association. Outside of work, Ashley finds joy in creating lasting memories with her husband and two children through family vacations. Her ability to balance empathy with expertise makes her not just an attorney, but a steady presence during life’s most personal legal challenges.
