Ms. Blumengold-Lopez is admitted to practice in and an active member of The Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University in 2012, and earned her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2019, while simultaneously earning a Certificate in Criminal Litigation.
Ms. Blumengold-Lopez was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Miami, Florida. She brings 14 years of exclusive family law experience, which includes significant roles at other well-respected Miami law firms, practicing as a Certified Legal Intern for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office Misdemeanor Domestic Violence Division and serving as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Maria Elena Verde, in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit during law school. Ms. Blumengold-Lopez represents clients in a variety of family law matters, including, divorce, paternity actions, establishment of timesharing and parenting plans, alimony, post-judgment child support modifications and enforcement of marital settlement agreements and parenting plans, prenuptial agreements and domestic violence.
Ms. Blumengold-Lopez received multiple academic recognitions while in law school, which include: CALI Award of Excellence Book Award in Trial Advocacy Practice, Pro Bono Commendation and the Dean’s List. She was also the Vice President of the Jewish Law Student Association, and an active member of the Children & Family Law Society, Student Animal Defense Legal Fund, Florida Association of Women Lawyers (FAWL) and the Criminal Law Society.
